About the position

As an experienced partnerships manager, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing our strategic partnership strategy. You'll research, prospect, and engage corporations, organizations, and institutions that share similar values to Proton in order to build strong and lasting partnerships that will help us create an internet where privacy is the default.
The ideal candidate will have experience identifying opportunities, getting in front of decision makers, and closing deals. You’ll also know how to put together compelling sales and marketing assets, pitch ideas, and negotiate winning partnerships.

What you will do

  • Own the strategic partnership strategy and execution.
  • Research, prospect, and close partnerships that have a concrete and measurable impact on the business.
  • Maintain and optimize our relationships with current partners.
  • Liaise with product and operations teams to develop custom solutions for our partners.

Job requirements

What are we looking for

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record of driving user and revenue growth with strategic partnerships.
  • Proven hands-on experience successfully managing partnership programs on both internal systems and third-party networks.
  • Strong project and program management, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment, setting objectives, and ruthlessly prioritizing activities based on impact.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as a strong command of English. Able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with partners as well as with internal teams.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive, you don’t require constant input and have meticulous attention to detail.


Bonus points for

  • Experience in the tech and SaaS industries.
  • Strong communications skills in German or another European language.
