Purpose of the role

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our growing Operations Team in Switzerland. You will be responsible for driving day-to-day operations as well as supporting workflows throughout the company. 

 What you will do

  • Support the operations department in planning, organizing, and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Apply analytical skills to make recommendations to improving performance and simplification
  • Monitor and analyze key business performance indicators and trends to support strategic and tactical business decisions
  • Schedule operations meetings, manage the agenda, and follow up with team members on the open items and agreed on actions
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure timely and efficient software license acquisition and renewals
  • Administer and maintain an up-to-date overview of corporate software licenses, review the usage, track the expirations, and restrict or revoke licenses as appropriate
  • Partner with the People team and various departments to achieve smooth employee onboarding and offboarding process for all employees
  • Train new hires on operational policies and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures

Job requirements

  •  3 years of experience - ideally in consulting company.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal; additional German and/or French is an advantage
  • Proven experience in business or sales operations
  • Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or continual process improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in mainstream collaboration and productivity technologies
  • Ability to work well in a fast-moving environment with a wide range of stakeholders
