Purpose of the role
We are looking for Legal Counsel to expand the capabilities of our legal department in Geneva. With a central place in the Legal Team, you will provide advice and guidance to the management and different teams and provide support to compliance and litigation efforts to ensure the efficient operation and growth of the company.

What you will do

  • Give accurate and timely counsel to executives and collaborators in a variety of legal topics (commercial contracts, corporate law, intellectual property, immigration law, labor law, and data protection);
  • Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies;
  • Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance;
  • Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authorities, law enforcement authorities) and help foster mutual trust relationships;
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s rights;
  • Assist in keeping records up to dates, such as contract databases and corporate records.

Job requirements

  • Excellent understanding of Swiss commercial and corporate laws
  • Bachelor of Law from a Swiss university
  • Master in Law
  • 3 years of legal experience, as an in-house counsel in an international setting or in a law firm
  • Professional ethics and integrity
  • Fast learner, flexible and highly motivated
  • Fluent in English and French (fluency in German is a plus)
  • Available from January 1, 2022
  • Strong interest in technology and digital rights
