Purpose of the role

As an experienced partnerships executive, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing the partnership strategy at Proton. This is a global role with full ownership of strategic, brand, and B2B2C partnerships, as well as affiliate and influencer programs.

You will lead the Partnerships team and drive user growth and brand awareness by building strong, lasting partnerships with organizations that share Proton's values and vision of creating an internet where privacy is the default.

What you will do

  • Own the vision, strategy, and execution of all partnerships activities.
  • Drive user acquisition at scale via strategic, brand, and B2B2C partnerships, as well as with affiliate and influencer programs.
  • Closely collaborate with other growth teams to optimize user acquisition holistically.
  • Liaise with product and operations teams to develop custom solutions for our partners
  • Build, lead, and nurture a growing team of high-performing marketers who deliver undeniable business impact and breed standards of excellence for the team's strategy, creativity, and execution through coaching and capacity building.


Job requirements

  • 7+ years of experience and a proven track record of driving user growth and brand awareness via partnerships.
  • 7+ years of experience and a proven track record of running strategic, brand, and B2B2C partnerships, as well as affiliate and influencer programs.
  • 3+ years of experience building and leading teams, including experience directly managing teams of 5+ individuals and scaling organizations.
  • Strong project and program management, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment, setting objectives, and ruthlessly prioritizing activities based on impact.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as a strong command of English. Able to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with partners as well as with internal teams.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive, you don’t require constant input and have meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in tech and SaaS industries.
