Purpose of the role

Within our Finance function, we are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst to elevate our strategic approach to operational budgets, asset management, and other FP&A activities. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for various budget activities, strategic cash allocation, as well as a wide range of FP&A activities. What you will do

  • Contribute to and lead aspects of the ongoing Budget process, provide analytical and functional support to departments and help decision making through data-driven analysis
  • Lead and execute various analyses to support investment decisions
  • Create, analyze and monitor processes regarding strategic cash allocation
  • Create periodic presentations using financial metrics and analysis
  • Be involved in the implementation of various software tools, including an ERP solution
  • Assist the Accounting team with initiatives where required
  • Support the FP&A Manager across a wide range of strategic initiatives

Job requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance environment, minimum 2 years with an FP&A and/or Treasury focus
  • Experience of 2-3 years in a management consulting firm is a plus
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to build business plans
  • Experience building financial models, running simulations
  • Quick adoption and mastery of new systems
  • Detailed oriented while being adaptable in a fast paced startup environment
  • Team player and ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Six sigma or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Excel essential
  • Fluent in English. French and German an asset
